Name: John Gilkes

Fun Facts: I have been happily married to Anabella my wife of five years and I am a Muppet junkie. I enjoy hanging out with my wife playing video games and watching movies. I also enjoy spending time with my family and writing music.
Why I am in Root Road: Music is a powerful medium to express positive messages and I have a desire to through song teach life lessons so that listeners will not make the same mistakes I have made and if they do how to overcome those challenges.

Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Toledo.
Fun Facts: I am the second youngest out of seven children and enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and practicing piano and guitar in my spare time. I am also somewhat of a cookie monster and love cookies, as well as, other select baked goods like apple pie, cake, and brownies.
Why I am in Root Road: I joined the group because I love performing music
with my brothers that glorifies God. It is a very fulfilling to do something
that you feel is your purpose, and it makes me happy to know that our music is
doing good things in peoples' lives.
Nathanael -
Name: Nathanael Gilkes

Education: I have a High School Diploma from Southview High School, and have an Associates of Liberal Arts at LCCC.
Fun Facts: I like to play my Nintendo Wii, write songs on the piano, and go to the movies. These are a few of my favorite things.
Why I am in Root Road: Because I love my bros, and I love singing music that gives glory to God.
